The Manifesto Art Cycle
Visual Development (VD)
Extracting the visuals behind an idea, making sure the essence of the subject is there. The point in the process where I know how something looks, but now it's time to actually SEE it.
Rough Draft
Moving from dry erase planning to real lines on a page, this is where important decisions get made like pose and final accessorizing.
Lightboard
A marvelous piece of technology, the Lightboard allows me top copy what's been done so far and exclude the initial sketch-lines that can distract from what has been finalized. Now we can see anything areas that need more attention!
Official Art!
Almost done! This phase is representative of the final adjustments made to a design before I ink over the lines, a nice, final coat of paint to finish the whole thing off.
Line Art
A point in the process which I take great pride in, this is where we take a much closer look at our subject. Now that we've gotten the look down we can effectively visualize the specifics of how the subject should look and make sure everything looks right.
Digitalization & Correction
Now I'm able to bring you, the website viewer, the wonderful and full quality digitized scan of the art! Just like that you could have a Manifesto-style character of your very own!
